Clinimax Ltd is a privately owned British company specializing in the research, development and manufacture of cutting edge infection control products for human health as well as aquaculture and animal husbandry.
Bio-security is of ever increasing importance in today’s world of new and potentially fatal pathogens. Micro-organisms are continually evolving and developing resistance to current drugs and disinfectants so that the emergence of new disease strains is a constant threat.
Our mission at Clinimax Ltd is to remain at the forefront of bio-security technology by continual research and development to improve our wide range of infection control products.
Our human health disinfectants are marketed and manufactured under our Cleankill range. All our Cleankill products have been exclusively formulated in our laboratories and independently tested by University Hospital Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust research laboratories and given a 5-log reduction against all known pathogens. Our broad spectrum disinfectant, Difficil-S®, has recently received a Recommendation 2 from the Department of Health’s Rapid Review Panel which no other product in its class has achieved due to its powerful 5-log reduction against Clostridium difficile (inc. spores), MRSA, Swine Flu and Norovirus.
Our Victor and HD Extra products for animal husbandry are DEFRA-approved and provide a complete and cost effective disinfection and cleaning programme for the control of viruses, bacteria, fungi, yeasts and moulds. Victor and HD Extra are safe and simple to use on all surfaces, equipment and utensils in farms, veterinary surgeries, operating theatres, foot and wheel dips, hatcheries, dairies, stables, catteries, kennels and other animal accommodation.
Our aquaculture disinfectants are manufactured for Virasure Ltd and are specifically formulated for the bio-security challenges facing the aquaculture industry. Our products have been subjected to rigorous testing procedures confirming its effectiveness against a wide range of viral and bacterial fish pathogens for use on fish farms, freshwater hatcheries, well boats, harvesting stations, fish processing plants and other aquamarine environments.
